I think that despite what people may think, the away attendances at Diamonds may be decent next season if indeed we are in that league (touch wood, fingers crossed, etc ). Going to Nene Park will be like us going to Wembley ;)

Only 2 teams actually managed a crowd of 1000 at all last season as well(and both of those were promoted)! Will definitely miss the days of going to places like Luton and playing in front of 7000 and will miss going to even half decent grounds, but being the big fish of the league, hopefully teams would attract more to the games against us, so we shouldn't have to play in front of a sub 100 game (hopefully!).

With almost all games relatively nearby i'd expect us to take decent away following/s everywhere. Especially if we're winning games. So the prospect of a -100 game would be slim.

We might outnumber the home support ;) .

I might have to do one of those anorak-type seasons when you go to all the games. It would be great if we could outnumber some home crowds.

This gives us some indication

http://zamarettopremierfans.myfanforum. ... ut437.html

"Leamington typically take 100 plus to Saturday away games", which is alright and as BR said, a game at NP may very well attract a few more to come along, although on average I imagine we'll be seeing 20-30.

As for our away attendances I agree BR, we should see the odd game where we outnumber the home fans and if we have a successful season we'd maybe get 100-200 travelling on average and hopefully more for the Bedford game?

And how do we afford Nene Park?

Our fan base will fall I fear to probably around a half or two thirds of what it is now?

We can not afford to play in the Main Stadium, however, we could use Pitch two as our home.

How do people know that we can't play at Nene Park? The fact that this is continually dismissed makes no sense. We do not know what KC is thinking, we know nothing about this 'Japanese consortium', i'm not even considering that we'd not be at Nene Park next season, and until we hear something concrete neither should anyone else.

I highly doubt pitch two would be good enough and/or pass any grading inspection.
