Trust meeting
Re: Trust meeting
the zameretto league isnt really an option cos of the debts so unless we get bailed out its over for rdfc full stop
ladak wasnt there, but i wouldnt be suprised to see him on thu
name change couldnt happen half way through season cos kett have registered as K*ttering town and cant change that before summer next year
its simple kett will play at nene park and we have to choose
what do you support rdfc or nene park.
most last night said football at nene park was the important thing
i disagree

Re: Trust meeting
Was it mentioned at the meeting how much was raised by the willing people who tried to save the club,? and what is the amount now held by the trust ?

Re: Trust meeting
Im not a trust member so wasnt at the meeting.. but were the trust members really in favour of moving KTFC into NP and happy to simply watch us disappear, if so this is disgusting and they're doing the exact opposite of what Rushden & Diamonds supporters trust should be doing! its ridiculous! And if the money being raised by the supporters, thats being held by the trust, goes anywhere near "K*ttering Diamonds" and not Rushden & Diamonds or a Phoenix club, which was suggested at the forum, then I personally put the trust in the same category as the Beasants.

No it wasn't. We all seemed to get swept away with other issues, sorry but we're only human and it got missed (or it didn't seem relevant anymore). I guess you could ask for your money back, it's still there.diamondal wrote:Was it mentioned at the meeting how much was raised by the willing people who tried to save the club,? and what is the amount now held by the trust ?
It was thought that JE might command too much money to become K*ttering manager if they are moved into NP.

it didn't really happen that way at the meeting, it got a bit heated and confusing at voting time. Most of the members want to watch football at Nene Park. Ideally as R & DFC, but how it was explained to us was that R & DFC is no longer there, it has no league, it has no money, it doesn't even have a ground now! The money is still there, it hasn't been committed to anything as yet. If you want to step forward and form a new club from this one's ashes, then the money is there for you to ask for.

Re: Trust meeting
I assume then that if there will be no Club the Trust will be returning the money that was donated.
Re: Trust meeting
If there is no club (not including any worthless merger) and no prospect of a phoenix club at any future time, then every penny must surely be returned. The thought of Ladak getting his hands on it for some sort of K*ttering Diamonds venture should disgust everyone.diamond mad wrote:I assume then that if there will be no Club the Trust will be returning the money that was donated.

Or simply not cash the cheques that many made out, including those amounts pledged for season ticket that can't be honoured if there is no R&DFC. However, it will be impossible to return cash if they don't know who donated.diamond mad wrote:I assume then that if there will be no Club the Trust will be returning the money that was donated.

Re: Trust meeting
If anyone has donated money as a season ticket "pledge" I suggest they contact the Supporters Trust through the normal routes if they wish to withdraw that money. No return of funds were mentioned last evening as there's no absolute resolution as it stands.diamond mad wrote:I assume then that if there will be no Club the Trust will be returning the money that was donated.

Re: Trust meeting
Apparently they have kept records of all cash donations (not bucket collections obviously!) so that if necessary the money can be returned.Trek wrote:Or simply not cash the cheques that many made out, including those amounts pledged for season ticket that can't be honoured if there is no R&DFC. Re: Trust meeting
I'll be asking for my pledge to be returned the minute I know R&DFC is no more - what are the "normal routes" TofD?Two of Diamonds wrote:If anyone has donated money as a season ticket "pledge" I suggest they contact the Supporters Trust through the normal routes if they wish to withdraw that money. If there is money left in the kitty after pledges/donations are returned, then I think it should be donated to a Charity, perhaps something nominated by Dale Roberts' parents??? It should in no way be used by the Trust to prop up any bastardised version of R&DFC involving K*ttering - that would be a total betrayal of the fans that donated it.
