K*ttering Town playing at Nene Park...

If negotiations between the owner of Nene Park (KC) and KTFC go forward so that KTFC can rent Nene Park next season, this will be the new name of KTFC.
RDFC will not be in existance and no part of their name will be allowed by the Conference/FA to be incorporated. Ultimately if RDFC has any presence at Nene Park the club name will have to change, so for instance we can't have K*ttering Diamonds or Rushden and K*ttering Diamonds but we could have East Nortants United as already stated, or may I suggest Rockingham Forest - has a certain ring and is representative.
However, I am not saying I support this move and still hope our appeal will be heard, we are then successful in re-instatement and the Amber Knights put up the money... :? Unfortunately KC doesn't think this is likely.

Well I think it would depend on how mant KTFC fans would go to NP and if a change of name would draw back Diamonds fans who wouldn'y support the Poppies - It's all very commercial and yet about the survival of a decent standard of football in our region..

If K*ttering do move to Nene Park then it will only be a short term solution to their ground problem and Keith's need for rent until he can sell the land. I don't believe for one minute that it will lead to some kind of super club and in fact it will probably lose K*ttering hundreds of fans.

KC says he has spoken to Max re KTFC playing at NP next season and Max approves...at least the stadium will be used for football rather than be mothballed for the foreseeable future as RDFC, even if we re-emerge in the Southern League Premier, can't afford the £1000 a week overheads. We've raised 50k. IF we better advertise the pixels, plus explore other fundraising avenues for a WHOLE YEAR, surely we can afford to pay this £52k a year? Admittedly i'm not sure about the playing budget but at least we'd have NP ;) .

K*ttering should use Corby's new stadium and leave KC buggered up the arse. I think K*ttering will die at NP unfortunately, I don't see how they will be able to sustain football there either.
