Re: FC diamonds
I've just brought those two domains name because it looks like the options available are very very small, somebody all ready owns fcdiamonds.com and every other decent Rushden domain has already gone so to safe guard the domains I have just snapped them up.
Using this thread I'll state now, the domains are the property of what ever new club gets created, I will happily transfer them free of charge or supply a free server so the club can run their site without any overheads.
I just wanted to make sure the domains weren't picked up by a Poppies fan or something.

Fair enough. I also want to applaud you buying them and your offer of a free server to host a site on.Stalin wrote:I've just brought those two domains name because it looks like the options available are very very small, somebody all ready owns fcdiamonds.com and every other decent Rushden domain has already gone so to safe guard the domains I have just snapped them up.

Re: FC diamonds
If the current club gets liquidated might it be possible to purchase the property rights to the name Rushden and Diamonds including the logo?
I am just thinking out loud here but the Accrington Stanley reformed as Accrington Stanley and in the USA Portland Timbers reformed, San Jose Earthquakes took their old name and New York Cosmos are still a brand.

I think I already thought that out loud, further up the thread... but great minds think alike! :lol:TimbersDiamond wrote:If the current club gets liquidated might it be possible to purchase the property rights to the name Rushden and Diamonds including the logo?

Re: FC diamonds
I started the day wanting a name change but the more I think about it the more AFC Rushden & Diamonds sounds the right way to go.
Also, if the Poppies took over Nene Park, imagine getting drawn against them in the Senior Cup at Nene Park, our former home; could be an interesting atmosphere with us, possibly in the Airwair if enough fans traveled "away".
The phrase edgy springs to mind.
