or

"Surge ex favilla" = Arise from the ashes

If you believe Google translate

"Ex cineribus resurgam" From the ashes will rise again

"oriens cinere" = East ashes

A few, some taken from wikipedia. I particular like the last one:

Proin non moritur - We'll never die
semper fidelis -forever loyal
somnia non moritur - Dreams never Die
bonum commune communitatis - common good of the community - Or "general welfare". Refers to what benefits a society, as opposed to bonum commune hominis, which refers to what is good for an individual.
carpe diem - Seize the day
cor ad cor loquitur - heart speaks to heart.
crescit eundo - It grows as it goes.
dum vivimus, vivamus - While we live, let us live! - An encouragement to embrace life. Motto inscribed on the sword of the main character in the novel Glory Road.

Or 'Ex cinere surgemus'

Translates as 'Out of the ashes we will rise'

Loving the badge that has been designed. And fully agreee, a nice bit of latin will work perfectly.

''Proin non moritur - We'll never die
semper fidelis -forever loyal
somnia non moritur - Dreams never Die''

These all seem to work well.

I have been contacted by Lee Carter, AFC Telford Utd chairman who is willing to talk to us about starting up a phoenix club.

I have emailed his details.

How about: "Semper in excreta, sed solum profondis variat"
