maybe it would even be possible to link up with the Glen Hoddle academy to use their players for the friendlies.

I am sure teams like AFC Wimbledon, Chester, Halifax and FC United could offer their support in playing some friendlies. They are teams who have been in our position so will understand! Maybe ask Peterborough, Northampton, Luton, Cambridge etc also. If we could fix 1 friendly as month and make a big day of it with everybodies support we could build something special.

A friendly with AFC Wimbledon at home would be the perfect opening fixture in my opinion, they'd bring a fair few and they could be a great aspiration to ourselves. Im sure Max Porter could pull a few strings to get it on, but Im sure they'd be willing to anyway.
I wouldnt want to play Cobblers, they're arrogant and it'd wind me up. They stole our England Fixture and are now trying to steal our fans! Cambridge and Peterborough are good shouts though! Rushden & Higham away would be good aswel, Im getting ahead of myself.

I am sure there are teams that everyone dislikes but all the local teams are now potential money makers towards our cause so we need to look at everybody from this point forward. if we played the cobblers in a friendly i would want them to bring as many fans with them as possible. Same with Luton etc.

not at all, options are needed plus as many fixtures as possible to a) keep players fit and b) bring cash inTwinkleToesTomlin wrote: A friendly with AFC Wimbledon at home would be the perfect opening fixture in my opinion, they'd bring a fair few and they could be a great aspiration to ourselves.
