RDFC
Drinking from an RDFC mug.
Scrolling on a RDFC mouse mat.
Woken up to a RDFC lampshade.
Saw the RDFC duvet hanging out on the washing line.
Tagged in two RDFC pictures on Facebook.
Wearing an RDFC training shirt.
Logged into a RDFC desktop logo.
I think it's sinking in...
It's fair to say you don't realise how big this club was for you until it seems it's been taken away from you.

Re: RDFC
It's not sinking in here at all......Matt refuses to talk about it and has been in his room since Thursday night (although he did surface to go to school yesterday), Katie bursts into tears at the slightest thing and I'm just a wreck seeing them both utterly inconsolable at what's happened to the club, their club that they were so passionate about
It's going to take a long time I fear.

Re: RDFC
Yeah similar for me (even got the duvet/ pillow covers on my bed   ), the fact that its all going to be memorabilia from a club that doesn't exist anymore is going to be weird.Oundle Diamond #2 wrote:Drinking from an RDFC mug.

2) I wish I had an R&D mug. :(
3) I've got a stainless steel R&D keychain that I'm now very scared to lose.
4) I always have a recent match picture as my desktop background and now I won't be able to change it for a season. It's currently a picture I took of Aaron O'Connor when he went to the PDB after Kiddy.

Why get rid of anything? Its part of who you are ! My framed, signed Conference winning shirt will remain on the wall of my study until they carry me off in a box - so many happy memories !!

My cab has a flag, banner, placemat, mug, mousemat, quilt set, limited edition van and various other Items. I have tops, teddies, mugs and other things floating around too. Ordinarily today I would have got other items from my sons. I shall keep it all.
You're knocked out with who I am,

Re: RDFC
My dark blue baseball cap with the embossed crest on the front and "Champions Div 3 2002/03" on the back - which is now getting lighter and lighter - is going to be even more precious now. I'm so glad I hoicked it out of the sea (well, Milford Haven) when it got blown in when I was sailing last year... had to do an "emergency stop" and beat back against the wind to get it! Still, my friend who is teaching me to sail his yacht used it as a "man overboard" exercise!
I have at least five shirts, home and away (probably more, actually), two scarves - the oldest being the 2001 "We're going up" scarf, as I swopped two away - one at Leeds after the replay in 1999, and one at Chester City the day we won the Conference and invaded the pitch - and at least two woolly hats.
I've also got a couple of programmes. I didn't used to keep those, but I think I kept the one which had my last ever "A View from the Terrace" notes in it.
The most important things don't need storing - they're all in my head!
