Can't we just give more pixels to those who have already purchased them, so they are now worth the cheaper amount? If it increases the money coming in, then surely it's worth it?Three Nips wrote:Obviously if this was to be implemented, it would have to be kept on the quiet from those who have already purchased pixels as they may wish to get more for their money.

The problem is that this is not possible within the limitations of the PHP app.DiamondEejit wrote:Can't we just give more pixels to those who have already purchased them, so they are now worth the cheaper amount? Is there any analytics? This could be useful in my attempts to get some business for the site?

That would work as there seem to be so many pixels left that offering those who have already so kindly donated more for their money can do no harm.DiamondEejit wrote:Can't we just give more pixels to those who have already purchased them, so they are now worth the cheaper amount? A bit later, but we've actually gone over £1000 when it comes to pixels.

Should the whole face of the site now be changed? People are no longer buying pixels to save the club, they'd be buying pixels to support the new one?
Just a thought.

I'd better reveal my surprise then - my employer will match fund-raising by any employee for any charitable cause up to a maxiumum of £1000. The only slight problem now is that I discussed this previously with one of the committee who are in charge of handing out the dosh and he said that it would be fine so long as I donated it towards Youth football. Currently we don't have a youth team...
