I don't believe it, are you saying they have over-looked the top performing manager that is Mr PHart? ;)
Re: Graham Westley...
Interesting, will be supporting Watford next season as well with no RDFC, never thought I'd support a Westley team again, although maybe Justin will apply

Re: Graham Westley...
I always got the impression that Graham Westley had a small comfort zone. Let's face it when he left us he didn't get another permanent management job for quite some time, if you ignore that brief temporary stay at the Ploppies, and when he did he returned back to a club that he'd previously managed and been sacked from. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he stays put at Stevenage where he can continued to impose his AIMITA style of management which might not work at a Championship club.

I edited my post since IIRC it was only a temporary role to win the BSN play offs which he failed to do.darrylthediamond wrote:Trek... didn't GW get the K*ttering job within 2 months??
I don't think Westley's bullying tactics will work with the better quality of player.

I don't want to keep harping on about Westley but he took a fair few players to Stevenage that he also had here during his short tenure.... If he was that bad I would have thought those people would have gone to other clubs than work with him again?
JE to Watford would is a good shout too, they did want him as a coach last year IIRC?

Re: Graham Westley...
I didn't say he was bad but he has a particular style of mangement that is not always best suited to certain players. KC never publicly said why Westley was relieved of his duties after turning our fortunes around but did confide the real reason with a number of people. ;)darrylthediamond wrote:I don't want to keep harping on about Westley but he took a fair few players to Stevenage that he also had here during his short tenure.... I was also puzzled why he returned back to Stevenage, a place where he wasn't generally liked by the fans, to resume his managerial career with a Chairman that had previously sacked him.
Any way it's water under the bridge now why he left us and it's harder for managers to succeed in the Championship as people like Mark Cooper for example have discovered.
