It's no rumour, KC told us exactly that at the forum last week.

And if Steve Beasant says he isn't responsible for the appeal, then you can pretty much guarantee that he is.

I really didn't expect to see this when I came on this evening. The problem is we don't trust anyone that is or has run the club and its all just another who done it! We don't know who is responsible or their motives. KC had clearly given up on thursday evening, maybe he was expecting a better reception to them playing at nene park? Maybe its clicked that the japs will back us if we won the appeal and with his legal team he might well feel that by taking on the conference board as opposed to the FA he has a chance? Maybe something has changed over the weekend with the GH academy. what i do find strange is that JE is still about whilst all the players have moved on, almost like KC has said to stay put. Is KC going to save the club at the eleventh hour and be the hero. We could sit here for hours pondering but what on earth is going on? I would have thought it could only be the Beasants as they own the club but i sometimes wonder the way KC talks.

Wouldn't it be refreshing if someone....anyone....would just tell us what on earth is going on for once, but no, it is just more intrigue? Please just put us out of our misery once and for all and let us move on, I think I have had enough now!

Could this just be a plan by who ever made the appeal to throw a spanner in the works of setting up a new club in the hope of leaving the fans with no other option but to watch football at nene park next season?

If a new club is set up it will surely effect the small but all important floating fans who just want to watch football, eg at nene park, future home of the poppies?

It's not about saving the diamonds, it's about attendance's at nene park next season.

I may be wrong but didn't someone say at the Fans Forum that if there was an appeal it would cost money ? Perhaps to the tune of £20k ? If so someone really must expect to win to gamble that sort of cash. And even if we did win it could well not be heard for some time. And what about the winding up order - surely that's the final nail in the coffin even if the appeal won. Unless a rich consortium came in. Anyway it smells of fish to me - especially as Young or Old Mr B know nothing about it.

I don't believe that this has any foundation at all. KTFC still talk about the option of staying at Rockingham Road, whilst Nene Park still has the possibility of Conference football outside of KTFC. Both unlikely to happen but helpful when it comes to striking the best deal for each party. Given that KTFC are going to make a decision within the week and the appeal has this week still to run the timing couldn't be better.

I cannot see how the appeal can change anything regarding the phoenix club bearing in mind it cannot start until 2012/13 season; unless there is a window of opportunity to do something next season which I cannot see. By the time we have our meeting on the 1st July we will be liquidated and the KTFC deal will be done. The winding up case will be heard 4th July if not.

Nothing other than a successful appeal and a miracle beyond all expectations to save R&D will make me return to Nene Park ever again. I made that pledge to myself after the fans forum last Thursday.

I agree risking £20,000 for an appeal does make me wonder though; it depends when this amount becomes payable. Does it have to be put down when the appeal is put in or heard?

If this is some negotiation or tactical ploy then it is sick as once again it kicks the fans when we are already down as far as any football fan can get. But as we have seen in recent weeks we are incidental to the whole process.
