I'm told that while the deal was in the balance yesterday, it is now back on and set to be completed tomorrow.
Brinksmanship from both sides ensuring a tidy little increase in rent for our ex-landlord no doubt.

If this goes ahead then KC has got exactly what he has been planning all along. Hope to God he sleeps at night because he certainly doesn,t deserve too. Hope the lot falls down around his ears :evil:diamondphil wrote:http://www.northantset.co.uk/lifestyle/ ... _1_2799218

Re: Poppies ground deal set to be completed
if this goes ahead and say by some miracle the appeal is over turned, where would we play? It states that one of the conditions is that they are the sole club at the site. Would that then leave us at RR with no other alternative???
don't get me wrong, I think its extremely unlikely that the appeal will be over turned and i'm as much behind the AFC set up as the rest but this is something to consider whilst the club remains alive, albeit on life support it seems...

I was thinking the exact same thing. All of this concerns me somewhat. Where could we play if the appeals are successful?
Groundshare with Cobblers? RR for two seasons? (which would be fekin stupid imo) Maybe the condition that KTFC are the sole club @ NP is one of the things that Ladick was referring to when he stated he 'would have liked a slightly better deal' ??
Meh, AFC for me
