Fed up with KC playing poker with RDFC.
Can understand that he does not want to lose his money and needs to look at alternatives but to consider giving up our ground to our most bittter rivals is unforgivable and only shows his lack of compassion for our club.
A supporter he he's not - a businessman he is.

I know this will probably not be relevant to many on here but feel the need to share and relieve myself of the frustration felt..............I shall be sending Mr Beasant a strongly worded email tomorrow regards his appeal...

....if the cost of the appeal is the reputed £20,000 how can this be paid when he cannot pay me and my girls the money that is owed since March?????

I am all for saving the Club but I do feel it will very sadly be fruitless, I am truely truely gutted over this and am sitting here with my endless memories....but anger keeps taking over when I think they are spending money they just don't have!!

This is simply the reaction of desperate people knowing that they haven't got our support, and probably understand why. If they did have our support, they woulld not have needed to "request" our support.
You can add to the list of things that you “need to buy” - share in the football club: RDFC does not have any shares, it is a company limited by guarantee not shares!

The appeals haven't been made by the Beasants.

The appeals haven't been made by the Beasants.
.....forgive me but reading the ET last night it clearly stated " Diamonds’ chief executive Steve Beasant confirmed the club have appealed to the Football Association over the decision, made because of financial issues, at the Conference’s annual meeting 12 days ago" and that "Beasant is primarily handling the appeal and is liaising with former Diamonds chairman and Nene Park landowner Keith Cousins on the matter.

....are they not the Club???

...to be honest I am sick to the back teeth of the "we've done this" and "they've said that" that is coming out of the Beasants mouths and KC.....it is all beyond belief!!!
Someone has ruined this club's reputation and it's position financially, I have my own opinion on who and why but there is no reason in me pondering on it too long as it will have no bearing on any outcome and just give me a migraine!!!
I grew up at this Club, attended the first ever game at Nene Park, spent 3 or 4 nights a week there in the days of the Combined League, Youth games and 1st team matches, shed a tear when we've lost our players and Stalwarts like Dave Joyce and Barry Wills (who are probably shouting from their graves!!) cried when we won the Conference and when I woke up feeling hungover the next day!!!!

I am like many DEVASTATED to the extent that my work colleagues are not even allowed to bring up the topic which is hard as I also work in K*ttering!

Rant over..................

Dave Joyce, with out doubt a legend of Nene Park, but more importantly a legend of Rushden & Diamonds FC.

My favourite ever quote from the Joyce man is, at a managers meeting at Nene Park:

The then Security Manager said, "there's no I in team" and Joycey said "but theres 2 L's in boLLocks! haha, pmsl it sooooo sum's up what Joycey thought about corporate shite! What he would have made of KC and the Beazants, god only knows.

God bless you Dave, miss you more every day, hope you and Baz are having a wild time up above! If there is such a place I know you 2 old buggers definitely will be x

Could not have said this better myself.....being in the office at the games has lost it's sparkle since Dave left us....when the fans in the PDB his favourite phrase was "the Natives are getting restless"....he always looked after me and warned the boys away so I think to this day this is why I'm still single lol
I can remember being absolutely hammered in Strikers with him and my sister singing "We are the Champions" rather badly
..I think it's my memories with Dave and all the lads who became like brothers that are upsetting me most but these are things that the Beasants will not be able to take away!!!!!

I think anyone who knew these guys will have a good idea of what they would think of Mr B Snr, Mr B Jnr and KC

I'll never forget Dave Joyce... he was one of the kindest, most down to earth, cynical old sods you'll ever meet, with a Bullshitometer set permanently at "intolerant".

When Southampton got into the FA Cup Final for the firsts time since 1976, one of my son's friends was bemoaning the fact that he had stopped being a season ticket holder at St Mary's only at the end of the previous season, because he had gone to Uni and couldn't afford actively to support the Saints while he was there, and now he was going to miss out on a trip of a lifetime.

I asked Dave if he knew anyone on the Northants FA from whom I could blag a couple of tickets. A couple of days later he rang me, told me to get down to the Club within the next hour, and when I arrived presented me with a pair of tickets for the FA Cup Final - and wouldn't take any kind of thank you for getting them, beyond reimbursing the Club for face value...

My son's unbelieving mate, and his dad, ended up sitting amongst the Diamonds team and staff - right next to EWBAMBNET and his missus - for the FA Cup Final!

What an absolute star!
