Yes and that's very admiral Mad Dog and I wish you all the best but this thread is about amounts by RDFC.
Nobody is aiming it at those setting up the new club

Re: Staff Appeal
I was responding to ferrers saying AFC is letting people off the hook, which it isn't, which is why I've spoken about AFC.diamond mad wrote:Yes and that's very admiral Mad Dog and I wish you all the best but this thread is about amounts by RDFC.

Yes but all the liabilities are RDFC's
I do not feel AFC being formed let's them off the hook. I see it as two separate issues and entities.

Re: Staff Appeal
I can see ferrers point IF we were forming an AFC side to side-step the club's responsibilities and avoid paying what it owes - but we'll be a totally new entity run by fans who feel as pissed off and bitter for the way things have turned out as ferrers is ! We won't even be playing at NP.
The decision made tomorrow, and the actions taken by certain people over the coming weeks, will be pivotal in my football supporting life. I may have my old club back if they survive the appeal, get monied backers and do right by their creditors. I may have the excitement of seeing a new football club born and having an AFC side to support - or it may be the end of my football supporting days, if this all ends in tears I don't think I've got it in me to bother anymore.

Jim, that club is all but dead; laid bare, striped of any dignity it once.PigmanRDFC wrote:The decision made tomorrow, and the actions taken by certain people over the coming weeks, will be pivotal in my football supporting life. Although highly unlikely, if it was somehow saved I certainly wouldn't step foot inside Nene Park ever again; the way the last two owners have treated the fans and local business's is an utter disgrace.
My support is fully behind a new club with a new start; if this doesn't happen because the old club is saved then it would appear I no longer have a team to support

@ 001
I notice you didn't include the car boot stewards who haven't been paid since end of Feb
The comment not to include parttime staff suggests they are less deserving .
If the stewards didn't turn up there would chaos on the A6 on a Sunday morning
All car boot stewards have been at nene park for several years and don't deserve to be treated like this either

Re: Staff Appeal
I'd like to also add the staff of the Sports & Exhibition Centre to the list of RDFC employees who haven't been paid since beginning of April (for work to mid-March). I know they are only part time & the amounts involved are small in relation to some of the other monies owed, but they are never mentioned even though they had been turning up every day/week (until mid May) to provide a service for the people who have paid to use the all weather pitch. My heart goes out to those still working @ the club as I have seen the effects this situation has had on the loyal people there. It's just not right! :(
Sadly the list of people owed money goes on & on!

Great post Lanky Diamond!! You beat me too it.......I also felt reading the post that I was also less deserving being Match Day staff. Some of my staff work on matchdays to earn a little extra cash as they are young with families. Not receiving this money has had an impact on them......in addition without my staff, much like the car boot Fans would have struggled to get into the Ground on matchdays.....Lanky_Diamond wrote:@ 001

For me my upset is more about the Club having spent 20 years of my life there but that does not take away the fact that I, like many others are legally owed money!!
Those that are owed whether it be £1 or £100,000 are all in this together and sadly now it looks like no one will receive a penny.........
Re: Staff Appeal
People employed by RDFC who are owed money need to get legal advice - go to your local Citizens Advice Bureau for a start. There is a possibility you can get some money once a receiver is appointed via the insolvency provisions set out in the Employment Rights Act 1996. You could also call ACAS for advice - Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm and Saturday, 9am-1pm: 08457 47 47 47.
