I don’t know how the local councils work in East Northants, but I would have thought someone at the local council should be asking questions about how their town has managed to lose an “asset” the town should have been proud of – how many towns the size of Irthlingborough have had a team representing them in the third tier of English football? Instead of that they are faced with all the disruption of hosting games for a town 10 miles up the A6.
