Hung Out To Dry 4 - Working With The Administrators

Post by Formic »

I’m not sure how an Administrator works, and whether they look at how the monies have been “spent” over the period in question, or if they are only looking for what monies are still accessible. Either way, there may be people who are aware of other assets that the administrator might not find – effectively the money that had fallen down the sofa.

The Administrator will work to sell any assets the Club had which really was what remained at Nene Park, ie signed shirts, pictures etc.

The Administrator will only do a much as they will get paid, i hardly think they will dig deep as that would take time, most likely months going through accounts and that will cost wages that they would never recoup.

However much we feel for the people that have lost money we have to face reality that we were a minor Football Club and nobody apart from us lot gives a toss, we are just another number within hundreds of businesses that go bust every month.

That seems a bit shallow - but I guess they have rules to follow.

I do wonder who will be guiding them on the various assets. For example I know there is a laptop that the Trust bought for Radio Diamonds with the aim of them covering away games (which never happened) - I'd suggest that is either a Trust asset or a club asset - not a Landlord asset. I believe a lot of money was spend on the Radio Diamonds kit by a third party sponsor - does that now benefit the Landlord / KTFC ?

I would lay money that anything worth anything is gone, been hidden and hopefully Carterclark will insist upon seeing an inventory and ask the right questions.

My guess is they wont get the right answers and our esteemed owners will have been down to Cash Convertors which is the type of establishment that they arguably use to raise funds.

Does the asset register talk about any cars/mini buses, physio equipment, furniture, gang mowers do the staff who have been released have any equipment at home - I suspect everyhing has been squirrelled away!

Carterclark need to meet the needs of our lanldords/ladies, Gill and Cloverdale, programme printers etc with KC neutralising his losses as he is cash rich as a result of his acquisition of the club years ago.

These ghosts need burying and I can think of a couple of live ones I'd like to bury with them!

Why would KC write off his debts? He can recover some of his money now with no massive downsides, as all the creditors are already unhappy with him.
