That's because Rushden & Diamonds (2008) Limited is the company than owns the standium etc. R&D Ltd is the football club.
I thought Colnagen owned the stadium.
R&D 2008 Limited is the old supporters trust. It was converted into a limited company and is owned by KC. If the land / stadium had transferred to a new owner it would have triggered the claw back clause under the transfer agreement from Griggs to the trust.

You are probably correct, but one benefit of being registered in Panama is that you'll never find out! Interesting that any "investor" or "potential investor" in RDFC has turned out to be registered in a jurisdiction where it is very difficult / impossible to get any information about ownership, etc. It's not like these people have something to hide, is it?

You obviously watched "How to Buy a Football Club: Dispatches" shown on Channel 4 last evening. ;)

Glad someone else saw the Dispatches Programme on Channel 4 Monday night.

During the programme I kept thinking of our "friend" Keith, his Essex chums and the mystery offshore company in Panama. If you get chance to see the programme I can recommend it; it provokes much thought and more doubt in my mind about the handling of R & D Club affairs over the past few years. Another reason for a known administrator perhaps? Of course KC wants the truth about the way the club was managed during the last months of trading; notwithstanding two of his sidekicks HT and GC were on the original new Board but resigned post haste. Surely they would have told him something?

Thinking out aloud perhaps HT could have warned the Trust as well and not headed off to Corby?

For weeks I have been wondering what KC has got out of taking the Club from the Trust in terms of the remaining ground assets and their worth. All we heard from him was he had invested enough in the football club. As HT said recently the football club did not make a loss in the last full financial year under KC ownership and KC received some payment from the "new owners" when he sold the Football Club in December last year.

KC said he did not want to be associated with failure at Nene Park; not sure he is going to achieve that now. He remains the key to events leading up to the demise of the Club and now in the aftermath as "owner" of the main assets. The more i think about it despite the continued anmosity to towards us on their Forum Board I fear for Poppies and their long history.

It was quite painful viewing given what we've been through.

You point about the Poppies is quite correct - although it's clear that Poppynet doesn't represent the rank-and-file Poppies fans (as seen when the vote to move to Nene Park had a totally different outcome at their fans meeting). Perhaps those who know rather more level headed Poppies fans might point them in the direction of the problems linked to KC / Covenants / Leases / Clawback and rent payments, as it's clear those on poppynet see it all as a wind-up.

On the subject of Poppynet I'd advise caution when browsing. There's a particularly painful image on there at the moment, which isn't nice viewing. I've just spent a couple of minutes hitting my head with a hardback book to try and erase it from my memory.

I think that has just brought it home. I feel very upset and angry looking at that picture. I've sat in the same seat in the South Stand for the last 11 years and i'll never sit there again.
