Yes and the FA and Conference boards still haven,t twigged it yet. Shows what an out of date senile old tossers they are :!:
But Garry Hill has only ever been a manager at those clubs mentioned and I don't think the FA and Conference board has any say who a club appoints as their manager.
However, the question of club directorship is a completely different matter.

Completely going off topic here (although still on the subject of shite managers), Ernie Tippett, what on earth was all that about? The only thing entertaining about his time in charge was his post match interviews. "The lads look great on the training ground"......"We'll take the positives"... etc. What a joke. He made watching the Diamonds feel like a chore.
That was a strange appointment requested by the gang of three under the leadership of Darren Burney.
I wonder where we would be now if that consortium had succeeded in taking over the Club?
Hang on a minute, Burney was a property developer and came from Essex so we all know the answer to that question  .

I think that they a real problem in setting the criteria and then having the required expertise in researching a potential director's background and if they get it wrong they then risk being sued by that particular individual.

I still remember the picture of him on the OS the day he was appointed, he looked like a painter and decorator who was very lost.

Best description ever. I always wanted to go to those training sessions, they sounding amazing.
Oh and Hill positives; the SS Final, maybe beating Burton 2-1 at home (scraping the barrel), I really can't think of any apart from the SS Final.
Weren't all the Oxford home thrashings under Mr. Hill? I enjoyed them! Two 3-0's and a 5-0 or something? I remember the one that was on Setanta with Jackson scoring a right beaut!
