Also, as I thought yesterday, would I be right in thinking that a few of the players were wearing Nuneaton shorts?
We have an ugly bunch of fans. ;)

It's all relative. K*ttering fans might be considered attractive among their own species, whatever that is.

Very impressed by that turnout, especially considering it's an Under 18 team and a pre-season friendly.

Something I'm not impressed by is a total lack of coverage in the ET. 350 plus fans for a Youth Team friendly, the start of a new era, and nothing, nout in the ET?

Shameful journalism really. Can't believe how biased they are being towards certain clubs.

I bet no other 'small local team' had an attendance of over 300 for a pre-season friendly over the weekend though!

It was the first official game for the newly-formed club. It would have been nice to have seen that recognised in the local paper.

The E.T are too busy sucking up to Ladick, and giving him all the exposure he wants.

Though I didn't expect to get much coverage in the E.T, as Rushden & Higham don't get any either.

We did have some coverage in "The Rushden Reporter" on the back page. Which should be delivered free to everyone in Rushden.

Interesting you should mention the Rushden Reporter - I've lived in Rushden since 1988 and i had no idea it even existed until I saw it on Saturday!

I have been in touch with Mark Lea at ET via email regarding the coverage of AFC. I did receive a decent reply from him and it is clear that his hands are tied to a certain extent however he has promised to give as much coverage as possible. He also has no allegiance with K*ttering and was very disappointed with how things turned out for RDFC.
