in previous seasons our Youth Team players have gone on loan with men's teams to get Work Experience. I wondered what the possibility of the reverse situation applying this season might be - e.g. borrowing youth team age players from teams in the Southern League who don't have their own youth teams to give them match experience if they are fringe players for their club.
Perhaps someone could ask this question at tonight's forum - I'm not back from holiday in time.

Re: Dual Registration / Work Experience
Interesting idea Tony, although things work a little differently with the NSYL. We cannot register any players who have a contract with any club. Whether Southern League players are contracted to their clubs or not, I don't know, it's something we'll have to look at.Formic wrote:in previous seasons our Youth Team players have gone on loan with men's teams to get Work Experience. As long as a player isn't contracted anywhere, isn't registered to another team in the NSYL and was born within the defined age bracket we would be able to register him (I think!). I'll speak with Starms and see if this is something we can exploit.
