I have to say what a completely uplifting and positive meeting it was - I was bouncing out of the place

. New kit, new badge and a superb marketing brochure. I loved the idea of this (what was it called) a Community Benefit Scheme ? Can't recall it's exact name, but this is what the club will be set-up as. On the marketing side I love the transparency of it all. In previous years it was always "phone to find out the prices", which I always believed was a barrier and felt like there was a huge price hiding behind it, but our way is open and up front - most refreshing and enticing at those prices. I'd like to see a full list of prices (I think it was probably too much to fit in the brochure, which was expensive to print we were told). Someone also mentioned maybe advertising in the Rushden Reporter and In Your Vicinity magazines which apparently get delivered to around 20000 homes & businesses locally.
Another packed meeting, well attended and professionally delivered.
We voted to put a fixed pricing structure in place for entrance (I think with the option of paying more if you wished, so instead of the fixed £2 or £3, you can donate £5 or £10 or more). Don't forget we wont get that many home games this season (8?) so we must build our money for next season's UCL team.
