AFC Rushden and Diamonds have agreed a partnership with St Neots Town FC which enables AFC Rushden and Diamonds Supporters to watch senior football on a Saturday Afternoon for the forthcoming season.
The agreement between the two clubs is that for every AFC Rushden and Diamonds supporter attending any St Neots Town FC home first team fixture, St Neots Town FC will make a generous contribution to the AFC Rushden and Diamonds club fund. St Neots Town FC who play in the Evo-Stik League Southern Division One central of which is step 4 of the league
St Neots Town FC Chairman / Owner Mike Kearns said “We have offered to help in any way we can to AFC Rushden and Diamonds and we are in open discussion with them on other ways we can help the club. This deal enables both clubs to benefit for the season 2011-2012.
AFC Rushden and Diamonds Jon Ward said “we are delighted with this innovative tie up with St Neots Town FC, it enables fans to watch quality Saturday football whilst contributing to AFC Rushden and Diamonds at the same time:
AFC Rushden and Diamonds continue their pre season schedule at Wellingborough Whitworths on 11th August 7.45pm kick off. St Neots Town FC Open their league programme against Beconsfield on Saturday 13th August
This will be a great way to generate additional funds for AFC as well as satisfy your Saturday football fix for this year. It's not a bad set up to visit now and again and you can drink beer on the terrace as well.

No doubt someone on the Committee will say how and when you can collect a card if you were not at the meeting last night.
Cards should be available at every game or fans' forum from now on. Just grab one of us on the committee and if we don't have any on us we'll certainly be able to point you in the direction of someone who does.

Unfortunately no. They're laminated and numbered.
Could perhaps have been thought through a bit better. Chances are I won't be able to get one. Not for a while at least.
Why on earth are they numbered? ;)

I think St Neots printed the cards and issued to us. I guess they want to track how many different cards are being used, and how regularly.
Fair enough then. Are they at home at the weekend? I'm at a loose end. Albeit my £2 won't go to AFC R&D! Will they let me off if I wear my AFC R&D T-Shirt? ;)
