I do think it’s important how the club is perceived.
I agree up to a point - but we need to get our name out there to survive and develop, as long as we promote our name fairly why shouldn't we? Its a free market - with the cuckoos in our former home and getting loads of column inches supporting them in the "local" rag I think you're on the wrong forum if you think trying to poach other team's fans is playing against the rules !!

I don't know if that guy in the white shirt was a Diamond or not (see ET thread), he doesn't look very happy so probably. We will welcome him back when he sees the light and comes back from the dark side ;) Seriously, how anyone can go there and watch them is beyond me.

Despicable little club ran by a despicable little man - after the way they've been about us the sooner they go bust the better as far as I'm concerned, I'll not shed a tear.

of course it is a fine line, we must, no, we have to promote ourselves to everyone and anyone, we have a year to do this, of course we can only offer an under 18 youth team for his season, but i have to say so far watching them has been amazing, brilliant, even when we lose 3-0. I have chatted to and become friends with people i wouldn't have done standing on the debanke, and that is what will bind us together.

What we have now is new, different, better in alot of ways.

We have such a long way to go, we must be polite/courteous but competitive with all the local clubs, as we would expect them to be with us.

If people come along and pay their £2 and see an under 18 youth team instead of thinking they are seeing a mens team, it's their choice whether they come back again, i think they would see how brilliant it is, how friendly everyone is, how much of a great job the football management team have done.
As pigman says we are all in this together, if people want their conference football served to them at £18 a time and not to be thought of by the money men who are only interested in their cash through the gate then NP is where they should go.

If you want to be involved with a community club starting from scratch, come along on thursday next week and see how far we have come, better still involvement is open to everyone and anyone no matter how small or large, cmon get involved!!
