Tomlin...

Having a stormer on SS2 right now after Barry Fry saying he could play in the premiership 'with his eyes closed'.

Do we have a sell-on and is it still valid? Hopefully if he gets sold to a big club that money will help our remaining creditors.

Craig Farrel scored today for AFC Telford (put it here because didn't think it was worth its own thread), I guess by time tomlin moves to a new club the old RDFC will have finished going through the admin process but it must be a spall glimmer of hope for the creditors.

He seems to be involved in all the action so far! Surely that was not a penalty tho!! Looked outside the box to me.

6-1 to Peterborough now (57 mins on the clock), scoring goals for fun. Ipswich are down to 10 but frankly they could have 15 on the pitch and it wouldn't be enough to stop the rot.

9 men to Ipswich now, wave after wave of attack, I don't think I've ever seen a professional team score 10 goals in one match before...

Whilst we're on the subject of former players. Jefferson Louis scored 2 for Brackley today.

Sean Shields scored again for St Albans, Cliff Akurang scored for Chelmsford, and Jake Beecroft scored for Tonbridge Angels.
They say we've lost our money we're not famous anymore.....

I remember Ipswich losing 9-0 to Man Utd many years ago when Ipswich were in the Prem.

Yeah that's all great, but anyone know what would happen with a sell on fee? Imagine if somehow we negotiated it to AFC RDFC

Would be great, but it simply won't and in fact can't happen.

If Tommo is sold before R&D is wound up then the money would go to the club and be used to pay off the creditors. If R&D folds first then presumably the deal would be void and Posh would keep all the money themselves. In financial terms, they would be mad to sell Tommo while R&D still exists, although it would be great if they did for all the people who are currently going to lose a lot of money when the club goes.
