Apparently it was dead at NP this afternoon. My source said there was no atmosphere at all and very little singing.

That's if you believe that they genuinely did sell 1000+ season tickets. And if they really did, at the knockdown prices there were probably a lot of people who are only going to turn up to half the games.

Although they have around 1000 season ticket holders usually around 10% don't attend each fixture. However, I suspect that with the cuckoo's poor form this number may be a lot greater. Also pay on the gate prices of £18/£14 will no doubt be putting off a lot of floaters. There are now only 8 league places between them and Corby and their admission prices of £11/£7 are beginning to look very attractive. ;)

Went to Raunds Town - saw a few other Diamonds fans there as well, as it was Non0-League day...then again for our fans is has been for a while.

Someone on Poppynet was suggesting that the ground ought to be renamed the Morgue because there was no atmosphere there today. :lol:

Saw nearly all of Rothwell Corinthians v Long Buckby. Rothwell lost 2 - 5 in a very entertaining match.
