No ctiticism here jus an observation, but the match did seem to be arranged at the last minute with little pushing of the event beforehand. Cracking day though and a good total raised.

Yeah, it was arranged at very short notice so promoting it other than via the web was all we could do really. Hopefully a few more of those that went over may pop over to watch St Neots on a Saturday afternoon occasionally, £2 in the AFC coffers for every one that does !

You are right, we only had a week to get it sorted, and publicise it so notice was very short, if we do it again we'll get a lot more notice next time.

I have been over there a couple of times this season and they have a good side that could well end up in the mix for promotion at the shake out. Next game is against AFC Hayes next saturday (24th). i still can't get my head around walking round a football ground with a pint in my hand!

Hi all,

Glad you all had a good afternoon over at our place and boosted your clubs coffers. I thought it was a good runout for both teams, played in a great spirit and your lads will only benefit from playing games like these. I sincerely hope we can do it again sometime later In the season and with a bit more build up, get a few more through the door for you.
I hope you liked what we have on offer, especially the outside drinking part, which we can do apart from the FA cup and FA trophy, and hope to see you make the 20 minute drive for a few of our games during your enforced year out, starting this week when we look to cement our place in the top 3 when we take on AFC HAYES, 3:00pm kick off.
It was also great to see your AFC flag flying too, good effort!!!!!

Up the saints.... And the Diamonds!!!!!
