The AFC committee might have a challenge on their hands to gain UCL Premier status if Raunds are in the league below (if indeed that's what they aim for) although they could arguably apply for a place in the Southern League if a suitable ground could be found. There is also the challenge of ensuring there is a potential for promotion by getting a ground sorted of the right standard.

Y'know I did say this tongue in cheek a couple of weeks ago, but maybe it shouldn't be entirely ruled out? There is a ground in Ker-ker-ker Ketterin coming available in a couple of seasons time, maybe it should be considered an option as a stop gap move? I know, it's not a great thought, but it would meet requirements.

The stand at RR would need huge investment to get a safety certificate, so it's not even an option if it was made as a serious suggestion - which I'm sure it couldn't have been.

While it would be great to get back where we belong. I can't understand how Nene Park would even be considered. We all know how much it costs to run it, so that would be a non starter in my opinion.

What we want to aim for is a ground similar to St. Neots Town, or Bedford Town, two very good grounds, which I imagine don't cost that much to run.

I think you're confused diamondgeezer1 - ToD was referring to Rockingham Road (believe it or not ;) ).

Thame Utd's ASM Stadium is also a tidy looking new ground which was completed in Jan this year. They play at UCL level.

Ideally yes but as a local can you list all the grounds available in these two towns which are up to UCL standard and more importantly whether the clubs that play there would be willing to ground share.
