That should put to bed any thoughts of these lads being capable of UCL football next season. ;)

7-0 final score, the lads did better 2nd half, the highlight for me being Cogenhoes barmaid, well worth the entrance fee on her own...........Hubba Hubba 8-)

I think what people need to bear in mind is the ages of some of our lads vs the opposition, for example, we had a 15 year old up against an 18 year old in midfield, at that age the strength and speed difference is significant.

No getting away from it though, we were poor tonight, we didn't show up first half and looked beaten in our minds before KO - but these lads will learn, thats what U18s football is all about. We missed Danny tonight massively and were all at sea at the back, but we'll bounce back.

I hear Northampton Spencer drew with ON Chenecks tonight, so next week won't be easy either.

The barmaid made the evening bearable though, "anything off the bottom shelf please" ;)

it was a very harsh lesson last night, but a good learning curve, i think the lads played the Cogenhoe players reputation in the first half and played them as actual players in the second.

It's all about development for the under 18's though and most of our team will be with us next year and will be stronger for it, not many of Cogenhoe's will be.
