Bore off
DW - I think you are being rather harsh. If you look back at Wasteman's posts you'll see he was warning people about what was going on at Nene Park. Quite a lot of people didn't like what they were hearing - but that doesn't mean to say it was wrong.
Ill give him credit, as events unfolded many of the things that he suggested turned out to be true but he has only ever posted negative things about the club. His anger almost seemed to be directed towards us fans as much as the club and his posts are always in such a condecending manner.

Thats a real shame Wasteman, we do need everyone involved, AFC are about the future not the past, we want to take all the good stuff from RDFC, and leave all the bad out and we need people who can help in that to get involved no matter how small.

I hope you'll change your mind in the future

But you've already indicated you'll not be sponsoring the new club because of what went before not what's being said now, and that's a shame. We'd love to have you on board. The demise of R & DFC hurt so many of us in so many ways, and so many things got said in the heat of it all. What more can we do than rebuild from scratch and hope people who do want to sponsor the club see it for the new enterprise that it is, a Community Based one?
On the other hand if all you've come on here to do is settle an old score then expect to be criticised. Let the past be just that, and look to the present & future.
If you choose not to come along then that's your choice and we'll wish you all the best.

Its quite ironic that Thompson and Cousins have their roles with the Poppies when most of the Poppies fans have declined any advice Diamonds fans have offered on how to avoid repeating the problems we had since 2005 that led to the liquidation of our club.

I note they are even telling respected KTFC supporters such as Kev Meikle and Paul Cooke that they don't value their advice on these matters either. I wonder how long their heads will stay in the sand ?

The fact they could only muster 8 fans to travel to Newport will be seen as a sign that the club really is on a downward spiral in its current guise. I predict (further) desperate measures are on the horizon.

One wonders how many will turn up for the predicted cricket score in their FA Cup tie next weekend.

Would you really want to go to Newport on a cold Tuesday night though? I agree though, its a laughable amount of fans to take away though, considering we took approx 75 on our last visit there.

Surely the 8 fans that K*ttering took away was lower than any of the away fans who visited Nene Park to play us last season?

I would want to go to South Wales on a Tuesday night to support my team ;) if K*ttering only brought 8 fans though that is absolutely shocking!

IVe been reading this forum for quite some time. As a bunch of fans its a real shame to see just how bitter and twisted you are towards K*ttering, because your club wasnt run properly? How is that K*ttering's fault. I think the majority of real K*ttering fans, wouldnt wish the death of RDFC, perhaps (and Im sure you would return this) a slow demorolising fall down the leagues into obscurity and the occasional thumping in a cup match. We lost a big gate with you going pop. But for a club who is supposed to be about the community, theres not many community friendly folk on here?

I am a K*ttering fan who wishes your new venture all the best, but when you have a 36 page thread relating to a team who you 'hate'... seems a bit sad really doesnt it?
And yes there might have only been 8 hardy souls at Newport last night... but thats 8 more than you will ever get in the conference again!
