Another decent game last night where the lads kept their heads up and worked hard despite Spencer taking an early lead. Conditions were poor but we created some great chances - we must learn to capitalise on that hard work though.
We've got a good hard-working team now who have gelled well as a group and deserve to be successful :)

Very entertaining game between two evenly matched teams. Some of our passing was excellent although we seemed very reluctant to shoot early. Defensively we were pretty sound apart from the collection of comedy miscues and air kicks leading to their second goal. Decent ref. as well. All in all a very pleasant way to spend a damp Thursday evening :) .

I agree with the above, they seem a real honest bunch of players.

Was impressed with the performance yesterday, on another night we could have won far more comfortably. Shame to concede such soft goals though. If we can keep it tight at the back we should give Cogenhoe a bit more of a game next week.

The attendance looked lower than last week which was 250 ish if I remember, not sure if thats a concern or not!?

There was a lot of attractive, expansive football going forward though, especially in the second half.

I'm reliably informed that the attendance was actually slightly higher than last week 269. Guess it looked less because everyone was under cover due to the rain.
