I know its slightly off topic but im sure a few people are aware of Darlington's bleak situation as they seem to be heading towards oblivion, there situation holds many similarities to RDFC. This post sums up what i felt and still do to a certain extent when we were going through the same thing.

I think they will only survive if their stadium issues are resolved and in this respect they are in the hands of the local authority. Depends if they have a Corby style council or a Kettrin'/East Northants one.

I think you've missed my point completely. I was referring to Local Authorities.
Corby Borough Council is responsible for investment within the town hence the excellent community sporting facilities provided within the area. They provided 100% of the finances for the construction of Steel Park. K*ttering Borough Council and East Northants District Council have not invested in K*ttering and Rushden etc. in this respect. ;)
Corby and East Northamptonshire are, however, lumped together for parliamentary purposes sharing the same MP namely Ms Bagshawe.
