A continuation of the lack of regular maintenance that has been going on since 2004. Not our concern anymore.Formic wrote:Apparently the heating system has broken at Nene Park, and isn't being fixed anytime soon. I'm awesome. Technically I got the 1000th post and Pigman got the 1000th reply, so we all win.Duke of Wimbourne wrote:Sara Pascoe wrote:1,000th post. BOOM!
You are making a habit out of this posting lark 8-)

Oh and on a very childish note (always the best kind of notes, I find...) Imraan's Facebook page was linked to on Poppynet. I won't link it on here but I just sent him a nice, non-abusive message telling him how good a job he was doing as Chairman.

Many on poppynet seem to be including John Dempster in their all time Poppy XI -

Probably because they can't even afford a coach to take the players and staff to Luton! They are having to make their own way there! lolFormic wrote:Apparently the heating system has broken at Nene Park, and isn't being fixed anytime soon. Re: Desperate measures.....
seems quite ironic that one of Imraan's 'facebook friends' is United-Counties League which appears to be where he is sending his 'beloved' club

I see the bidding for the Poppies has reached the princely sum of £1 ;) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... um=twitter
I think IL must be holding out for at least a fiver... ;) ;)

Ladak is holding out for cash, this offer of £1 is a test to see if he really cares about the club, if he did he would let it go for that, this proves he doesn't. He wants to bleed the club dry.

Re: Desperate measures.....
The big issue here is the amount of debt which I suspect Ladak hasn't a handle on what the actual figure is. Sounds familiar doesn't it?
I reckon that Lee Thorn in going public on the details of his offer may have burnt his bridges.

Re: Desperate measures.....
You would think he would realise that a non league football club is costly love affair not a way to make money, he should give it to someone who wants it , but that person has to realise that all they will do is loose money for quite some time
