The 2015 date is not related to any convenants concerning the use of NP as a sporting venue.
This date relates to a Griggs clause concerning clawbacks on monies to be paid on land sold/developed before 2015.

The only issue being that unless you get a base with a few seasons lease then the UCL will not let you enter. Not sure but I think it is 3/5 years to enter the UCL.

Has anyone explored either of the two venues just outside Thrapston, not a bad little venue either of them.

You are not going to get anyone coming on to this public forum to advise who they have spoken to regarding possible venues for next season. You will need to wait until the meeting next month.

I don't know all the ins and outs, but there is some confusion here between the covenant on the land and the claw back clause.

The covenant on the land was, I believe, for 125 years and began when Griggs bought Nene Park back in 1992. It states that the land must be used for football, or something along those lines. If the Ploppies go bust at Nene Park then KC et al may be able to argue that they have tried to keep football on the land but haven't been successful and therefore the covenant should be removed. I don't know if this is possible though, or who they would have to convince.

The claw back clause, which runs until 2015, was put in place by the Griggs Group in order to protect the land when it was handed to the Supporters' Trust. It states that if the land is developed in any way up to 2015 then, I think, a sum of half of the value of the land shall be paid to the Griggs Group.

I see Rolls has denied a link with Cousins / Hill - it reminds me of a similar debate about links with Weymouth - http://www.thediamondsfc.com/page/NewsD ... 26,00.html

Can anyone comment on how Raunds have found letting us hire the ground this season ? Has it raised much money for them ? Has it run smoothly ? Have there been any issues ?

I think you are correct on both counts, Dave.
To get the convenants lifted KC would need to convince the planning authorities when applying for a change of use for the land.

Regarding Raunds I believe we have a great relationship and have made them lots of cash but they have to consider the state of their pitches and fixtures as they have a game on their pitch every Saturday afternoon and would take a battering through the season. They have to look after the facilities and make them the best for their team!

Rumours about pitches that ive heard skew bridge development, the land that higham colts play on near higham( IMO the best location and my vote if available) and obviously nene park (this option would mean I only attend away games)
