That's very true. Out of interest how many UCL Premier clubs, apart from St. Neots, have moved on to higher leagues over the last few years?
Looking at the UCL Champions for the past 30 or so seasons, there aren't many ..

Rothwell Town, Buckingham Town and Spalding United were all promoted and spent quite a few years at a higher level. Rothwell and maybe Buckingham? were further promoted to the Southern Premier.

You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

Just been reading the bit about this in the ET - I don't like the sound of local teams having to merge with teams from Suffolk and Norfolk. I hope there are other alternatives being considered as that just seems crazy.

I see that the UCL is very competitive.

Kempston Rovers are beating Yaxley 8-1 and it's only half-time!

Reported on Twitter.
Someone must have been having a bit of fun.

EDIT - Graham Yapp has just apologised for posting that score. He meant 0-1 of course! TwoHundredPercent who re-tweeted didn't spot the error. :?

It's not over yet, Yaxley! (God knows what that team talk will consist of) RT @GrahamYapp: Kempston Rovers 8 Yaxley 1 half time #nluk
