You could have 140 years of no achievement, or twenty years of glorious victories, you decide.

Who can be seen frequenting Corby as he is the Youth Manager there and also doing very well!BartonRaz wrote:Rhino was definitely Mark Peters.
I think most people referred to Duane Darby as simply 'Duane'.
Lovely to also see Roger Ashby, Nick Ashby, Kev Wilkin and for the real oldies Kenny Mist
Richard Bailey was also in my office today looking very well and we spent a good 10 minutes chatting about the good old days

There was 1,004 at Luton tonight. Their lowest post-war attendance at Kenilworth Road.

Re: Former Players
It is always interesting going through the Non League Paper to see which former players were on target over the weekend. Several have been mentioned above, but others on the scoresheet on Saturday were:
Lee Hales Chatham Town
Craig Farrell Hinckley United
Tim Sills Basingstoke Town
Donovan Simmonds Dover Athletic
Andy Furnell Soham Town Rangers
Tony Stokes Concord Rangers
Jon Stead Peterborough Northern Star
Lewis Hallford Aylesbury United

Re: Former Players
I saw Michael Bostwick score a cracker for Stevenage as they beat MK Dons tonight - he was one of three Hill rejects that are in their starting line-up in League 1 (Chris Beardsley and Jon Ashton being the others).

Re: Former Players
I must admit, I thought that Bostwick looked like he'd be a decent player with us, but Jon Ashton was such a very average player, and Beardsley was a bit hit and miss. They owe their careers very much to GW. I think in time Bostwick will go to Preston.

Against Halifax away Bostwick was so bad I wanted to cry.
