Desperate measures.....
Re: Desperate measures.....
A lot of us told them about the maintenace problems but they thought it was sour grapes, when we were just trying to warn them

Let's face it KC wasn't going to warn them about all the things that were broken, damaged, needed replacing etc. Our fans could see that virtually no maintenance had been done, as a result of shortage of money, since Max handed the club to the Trust nearly 7 years ago. Ladick was in such a rush to occupy NP he was oblivious to the problem.STAGMAN wrote:A lot of us told them about the maintenace problems but they thought it was sour grapes, when we were just trying to warn them

He kinda did, in a roundabout way. Remember he told them the stadium needed 100k spending on it. However I think he said he'd pay that himself.

I recall that statement but I thought it referred to tidying up the ground, removing the mountain of rubbish from the car parks and it clearly didn't include replacing gas central heating boilers.wewantourdarbyback wrote:He kinda did, in a roundabout way. Re: Desperate measures.....
This saga is getting like something from the twilight zone - it just gets weirder and weirder.
Sausage Rolls was due to issue a statement yesterday regarding his future with Weymouth and K*ttering - or so it all seemed.
However not so - all the statement addressed was a further cut in Weymouth's budget - after a sponsor failed to pay up (where have we heard that before? )
So what's going on? Has Rolls failed a fit and proper persons test, is the deal dead?
The saga continues!

I believe a cheque was cancelled by a group helping Weymouth due to the fact that they were not convinced the money would go into Weymouth F.C but maybe into someones pocket who then would walk away.
Also rumours of an investigation by the local F.A. about the lack of accounts for the last 2 years.
I do wonder how anybody at Kettrin would be thrilled to have Rolls turn up at their Club he seems far worse than Sadact.
Also i read an interview with Rolls in the ET and that would not give me any confidence as it looks like he and his other investor (believed to be a bloke called York, father of Max York) do not have the money to clear the debts, so it looks like the Rolls 'Modos Operandi' of a CVA looks likely.

I don't know why quite a few of their fans seem to just be saying 'let's wait and see what he does'. It's so clear that he'll try and enter them into a CVA but apparently a few of them are actually going to give him some support before it's completely obvious that he's going to f*** them up. I wonder if the quieter ones among them have sorted out a phoenix plan B yet, they'll need it.

Rob, I really don't think this is the case at all by reading between the lines on Poppynet. They've seriously got their heads in the sand!I wonder if the quieter ones among them have sorted out a phoenix plan B yet, they'll need it
Anyway they've missed the deadline to be a Northants FA affliated phoenix club for next season, so most likely they won't have a senior side until at least the 2013/14 season.

The other problem is that they're draining their support dry. Their Trust have probably raised at least £15k including the Wrexham bucket collection. This money will drop into a black hole when it ought to have been ring fenced for possible use in setting up a Phoenix club.
