FA Trophy

Post by Bob's Bitch »

Newport have been drawn against Wealdstone in the semi-finals (two-legged). Justin looks set to go to Wembley. :D Depending on the ticket prices I think I'll go and cheer him on and see Wembley at the same time.

Newport have had Forest Green, Worksop, Northwich & Wealdstone. Has there ever been such an easy route to Wembley? I think that's a case of the footballing Gods rewarding JE for the shite he had to put up with last summer. ;)

Don't count your chickens, Wealdstone had a fine victory on Cambridge United's patch last Saturday. ;)

This comp does seem to throw up the odd shock finalist from time to time. You would think Newport would take them over two legs but it is the cup afterall!
