New large all-seated away stand that probably wasn't there last time Diamonds visited. So it was great! Can't say much for the home end.
Met another ex-Diamonds season ticket holder last night, said he wouldn't be going next season :(.
How many grounds have you been to...?

Did he give any reason Raz? Although i understand that some people prefer to watch football at a higher level and be surrounded by good facilities i cannot understand people that change their 'team' I have been to watch plenty of football this season, mainly at St Neots, Peterborough & Wolves (my Dad's team) and although i like to see the teams win it doesnt bother me too much if they lose. When RDFC/AFC lost it would ruin my whole weekend and i would go into work on a Monday morning still sulking, that's the difference! :mrgreen:BartonRaz wrote:New large all-seated away stand that probably wasn't there last time Diamonds visited. Made clear his dislike for the Dog & Duck. Something I couldn't bring myself to disagree with given that I agreed with him (I was one of the 7/8% that voted for St Neots). I told him I'd still be going though.
Agree about it not bothering you too much if a team wins or not. Its a strange feeling.

Im astonished that I have only been to 29 grounds, from the Premiership down to Conference North/South level!
And some of those arent in use anymore, Highfield Rd, Brightons Athletic Track and the Rockinghorse.
as well as Wembley, Millenium, Nou Camp, Tenerife CF.
Im not counting the likes Wboro, Rothwell, Raunds, Stamford etc.
EDIT: I've missed teams like Grays etc.

I understand what you mean about the dog and duck, it's not brilliant from a spectator point of view especially as the huge nets behind the goals get in the way. I love St Neots as a ground, the pitch is top class and the facilities are superb. I'm sure we will help Wellingborough to improve facilities and hopefully the pitch as well. I'm so grateful that Wellingborough have given us the opportunity to hopefully watch our team on a Saturday again. That's all I want!!BartonRaz wrote:Made clear his dislike for the Dog & Duck.
