Went to harborough vs Raunds, harborough have a brilliant set up there. With a stadium pitch, 3G and lots of football pitches for all their youth and girls teams, I was very impressed.
Was less than impressed with the standard of football, though Raunds have improved since the last time I saw them.

I went to the FA Youth Cup semi-final between Man Utd and Chelsea at Old Trafford on Friday night. I don't know whether any of you watched it on TV, but it's amazing how much bigger them players are compared to the AFC R&D team! I know you'd expect there to be a difference, but it was a lot bigger than anyone could have expected!
Man Utd also had a player called Nicky Iounnou! Not the same ex Rushden player though.

Yesterday I was at Chesterfield v MK Dons. Really good close game. Either side could have won it and it will be harsh on Chesterfield if they go down as they played some good football at times.

I went to see Chiang Mai FC in Thailand last weekend! Not that I'm bragging, but it was one hell of an experience for me and my son. Forget the drum, we had a complete band in the crowd :P Beer in the ground that'll suit most of us, mainly Pigman and Bobo ;) And I brought a souvenier back for our new club, watch this space. SS
