Fundraising update

Post by StaceyH »

On behalf of the Fundraising Team I would like to offer our sincere thanks for all the support we have received to date this season. It has been amazing and so far we have raised:-

Raffles at Games: £2543.69
Christmas Party: £ 600.00
Race Night: £ 1200.00
Joan's silence!!!: £ 229.43

We still have the rest of the Shield games and any further friendlies to add to the list so it would be great if we can reach the magic £5,000.00.

Also we hope you will support the Ladies Day at Raunds Town FC/Kiln Park on Sunday May 13th from 1300-1700 where there will be many various stalls and demonstrations.

We are already compiling a list of events for the new season one of these being a trip to Peterborough Dogs on Saturday September 1st. If you are interested we need a deposit of £15.00 before the 30th April. You can either give this to myself or Joan at any of the forthcoming games.

Once again our most sincere thanks.

Glenis Haynes/Fundraising Team. :D

Really good amount raised. Well done everyone.

Does the money from the Quiz Nights not go to AFC R&D?

It certainly does, however Ken looks after everything to do with the quiz rather than the actual fundraising team, so I suspect they don't have the figures to hand. We've had 4 or 5 AFC quizzes now, which I imagine have raised a further £600-£1000 (the first couple were a bit quiet, but the numbers have been very good for the last few).

Indeed, Glenis has confirmed that Ken deals with the quizzes, not the fundraising team.

The car rally was missed off the list, that's another £105 for club funds :)
