Any of you folks coming to watch Woodford vs Kempston tomorrow night (11th)?

2 reasons....- us, you and them are all in with a chance of getting near the top of the league and this is a critical match (we've got Cogenhoe next week!) and.....
You'll be able to suss out the opposition for your Northants Senior Youth League Knockout Cup 2012 - Final next week.

Being a village club with no fans and hence no income, we'll be charging £4 to get in! :(

If anyone's interested it was 3-3, so Cogenhoe have basically won the league barring a massive swing in goal difference.

We now need Cogenhoe to beat Woodford by more than 3 goals (Woodford have scored a lot more than us), otherwise Woodford will finish above us.

I predict that this won't happen.

And a cracking game it was too. My lad got MOTM, scoring 2 classic goals, both chipping the keeper, and got an Assist for the 3rd.
We totally dominated the 1st half, but took our feet off the pedal in the 2nd half, allowing Kempston to get back into the game.

They are a good team but I think you should beat them.

As for Cogenhoe beating us by more than 3 goals, the way we are playing at present, I can't see that happening. We've already played them 4 times this season and they've all been close affairs.

Keep our feet on the ground before the final, but virtually ends our chances in the Jaymann Shield?

This is probably wrong, but is the only way we can get through via 1-0 win by Rothwell C over S&L in their game? That seems unlikely.
