FT they've lost 3-1 to a team that hadn't won since December and that's the end of what has been a very entertaining season as a Diamonds fan, never would have believed they'd go down bottom of the table (even below dreadful Bath  ) though I guess we can keep this thread going throughout the summer ;)

Best result possible, surely that would now require 4 teams needing to be knocked out of the AGM Cup to give the Poppies any chance of staying up
Re: Desperate measures.....
I hoped beyond all hope that the move to Nene Park would bring nothing but misery on KTFC, but at the start of the season I genuinely thought they would go on rubbing our noses in it all season, even without a playoff spot, which I'd have predicted at the start of the season, they would at least get themselves moving in the right direction. I don't believe in Karma, but it does make you thInk there is some sort of universal balancing act going on. This season started out with very low expectations for me, I could never have predicted the fantastic achievements of our fledgling team and neither would I have thought that the Ploppies would finish the BSP at rock bottom. Well done to all involved, I'm off out for a night in K*ttering, should be fun.

You wonder how they can possibly top that for entertainment next season. Mind you, they seem to think that the move to transfer ownership to Rolls is foundering as Cousins is insisting on the terms of the long lease that Ladak signed.ChorltonV wrote:I hoped beyond all hope that the move to Nene Park would bring nothing but misery on KTFC, but at the start of the season I genuinely thought they would go on rubbing our noses in it all season, even without a playoff spot, which I'd have predicted at the start of the season, they would at least get themselves moving in the right direction. Ladak will keep delaying and delaying, hoping that they all forget about him...
Brackley to be the top Northants team in the BSN next season. My bold prediction.
