Play-Offs...
Anyone going to take in a game, or interested in them?
Slough lost 2-1 to Beaconsfield in their play-off semi tonight, so despite finishing way clear of third they're stuck in Division One for another season at least. It's now Bedworth V Beaconsfield in the play-off final at Bedworth on Monday. Think i'm going to go.
Slough now face Woodford away in the ultimate dead-rubber match. Their final league game which was postponed.
Regarding the play-offs, i'm hoping to get to the BSS play-off final if Dartford make it as looks likely, i've wanted to go to their ground for a while.

Re: Play-Offs...
I was at the Bedworth v Uxbridge game on Tuesday, and it was a very entertaining contest.
Uxbridge led until late, and though Bedworth played some good attacking football in the second half, getting it wide effectively, Uxbridge were well-drilled at the back and looked likely to see it out. However, the Uxbridge keeper let a slow cross under his body and in, and after that it was only a matter of time before the winner for the hosts.
Lovely ground, just the type of place I'd look forward to visiting. However, two visits by a gentlemen in a mankini were not so welcome ;)
Oh, and each side had a player who was properly obese! The obese player for Bedworth....Ian Roper!

Re: Play-Offs...
I'm considering Huddersfield v MK Dons. Might go to both legs. Hoping for a Hudds promotion as I'm working in the media department next season. Can't see them keeping Jordan Rhodes this summer, even if they go up.
Re: Play-Offs...
Roper should have been sent off in the first half too - after lashing out with a wild kick on an opponent after he'd fouled him and the ref had blown his whistle. You could see why St Neots had won that league so easily if the two teams on show were some of the "best of the rest".Everyweeker wrote:I was at the Bedworth v Uxbridge game on Tuesday, and it was a very entertaining contest.

Re: Play-Offs...
I went to the Luton Town v Wrexham game last night, just over 9,000 there to see Luton put in an impressive performance and win 2-0, if should have been 5 !!
Very impressed with Luton, Andre Gray is a terrific find for them, pace and balance, at times he torn Wrexham apart. Gray and Fleetwood are are very good fit as front ment for Luton. They missed 2 sitters in the second half and apart from the first 10 minutes of the second half when Wrexham came out flying, they totally dominated the game.
Curtis Osano also had a great game, solid defensively and dangerous on the attack. As a neutral I really enjoyed the game and if Luton play the same on Monday they'll be going to Wembley, Wrexham just couldn't handle their pace and as the away team with a 2 goal lead, I can see them getting a goal or 2 on the break as Wrexham have to go seacrhing for goals.

If there's tickets spare and I'm free I might head to Blues v Blackpool at St Andrews.
