They've announced their Match-day prices with an air of arrogance that they'll be accepted into the Southern League. The headline figures seems to be they are only giving concessions a £2 discount - which means it will be £10 a game for an OAP at Nene Park - only £4 less than at Sixfields, at least 3 leagues higher! £12 for an adult is pretty steep in Step 3 too.

It seems to have been published on Poppynet rather than on their website - or even on the "new dawn" facebook page. I think the guy who used to do the Official website has moved on - hence the amateur attempt at publicising an "amatuer" Boxing night.

......and £1.00 MORE than at the Ricoh Arena next season where concessions will be able to watch Coventry City's F.A. League Division One matches for £9.00!

Hello to all and just a short introduction.

I am one of the 71 creditors that is owed money. I am not a poppies fan although I do keep track on your results.

I have spoken to a few of the other creditors and it looks like we will not get a say in accepting the CVA as Imraan Ladak and George Rolls hold enough debt between them to make the final say.

George is not a nice man to deal with, I was promised a resolution to my money owed and after making a compromise agreement George has now gone back on this. He continually ignored my calls and texts, ignored emails and ignored letters. If he treated me this way it would be shameful to think how he may have treated other creditors that were more of a pushover.

The man is unprofessional and seems to only be in this for himself. I have a few customers that are Cambridge fans that warned me of his ways when he was rumoured for takeover. One man they told me to watch out for was Mr Pranas Preidzius, he 'allegedly' helped put Cambridge into debt and also Weymouth. If this guy appears at your club in any capacity be worried.

If George had simply honoured the compromise agreement which was massively reduced from what was due to me I would have continued to work with the club. As a result I have had to take a loan to improve cash flow and due to pilling up debts I'm struggling to pay off. George has not just messed with the club but the creditors lives. If he had been a man and honoured his agreement I would not be in this mess. George I'm watching your every move very closely, and the fact the proposal was not even signed by you shows your up to your old tricks again.

Good luck in your new league everyone, if I can get the time I would very much like to come to a game one day, I hope as a club you pull through this and come back stronger. Hope I haven't offended anyone with my rant, I'm just angry and going through a very hard time.

That only demonstrates further what a disgrace of a businessman he is, as much as I don't like them I do hope he doesn't succeed in whatever he's trying to get out of this whole venture, but of course you wonder how much of the revenue from all these events will actually go into the club, I imagine very little.

And I can't help but quote this from ploppynet from yesterday:
It does seem that almost all that has been said the opposite has happened since GR took over the mantle.
No shit sherlock, you were warned, numerous times

Just been catching up with this thread. One season ticket sold in six weeks!!!! They are the most apathetic bunch of supporters I've ever known. This fact alone speaks volumes. Plastic supporters.

Surely the law needs revising with regard to CVA. Seems to me a very convenient way whereby a company can avoid paying it's debts but still be allowed to trade, how it affects it's future ability to get credit and banking facilities I'm not sure. However, should it be approved on the 15th June I sincerely hope all businesses affected by the CVA refuse to do any further business with KTFC.
Morally it stinks.

As a way of keeping a company alive that is hit by unforeseen problems one can see a CVA has its merits, but when one is so clearly planned months in advance is when it becomes so grubby.

Clearly the demise of the Diamonds also left a lot of decent people out of pocket, and that too seemed to me to be a while in the planning.

Football clubs shouldn't be allowed to enter CVA's without totally dropping out of the football pyramid and starting right at the bottom regardless of how big the club.

They are just a convenient way of running up large debts chasing faint hopes of promotion and when it all goes wrong the club can get out of jail relatively unscathed while leaving creditors with virtually nothing.

Regardless of who run the debt up, the current "owners" of K*ttering should be liable; a drop of one division and going "part time" isn't a punishment; sums up everything which is wrong with football.
