Just read an article, that the England WAGS have decided to station themselves at Anahita resort in Mauritius.
So...................run these figures through your brains and be amazed about the gap between Players & WAGS to us The Fans.
It is stated that the WAGS will have booked into the 'Resort' for up to two weeks BEFORE a ball is kicked, and have booked provisionally for the whole month of the tournament. So that in my book means around 45 each.
Now comes the maths.
22 players so we expect 22 WAGS too.
22 x 45 = 990 nights @ £1600 per night = £1.584000
They reckon that the RESORT is a five hour flight to and from SA. Hopefuly if England play to the final we will play around seven games. So 22 WAGS x 7 return flights around the £1000 per flight = £154,000
Then there are the initial return flights to the Resort as well, and after some very brief research FIRST CLASS is around £4500 each x 22 = £99,000
So................As Cappelo has banned the WAGS from being around the team for the duration, It presupposes that the FA will pick up the Tab of £1,837000
BTW these figures will be trebled when you take into consideration the backroom staff flights, accomodation etc.
DON'T even consider the 22 team players costs...................... The mind boggles.

Do the FA really bear the cost of transferring the WAGS too and from where they decide to stay? I would be surprised if they did tbh, especially with the wages their other halves get!!! Having read another article though, it seems that whoever pays, they may not have to worry, as apparently it is in doubt following Cheryl waking up and realising what a c*** CAshley is!
Re: Question: Is this what football is about????
I recall Coppello banning WAGS from the TEAM hotel, I also recall that I read somewhere that WAGS were still family but may be located away from the games, but may still want to 'support' their man. This implied that the FA would in return for 'no nookey' 'look after them.jimbobjaw wrote:Do the FA really bear the cost of transferring the WAGS too and from where they decide to stay? It was Cheryl Cole that suggested this resort, and now she won't be going. SHAME!
I may be totally wrong, but do recall some 'trade off' news article.
PLUS, the FA pay for everything else................LOADS A MONEY
BTW if CAshley is such C***, with his record he'll be shagging himself soon!

OH DEAR............. since all the "who shagged who" stories, the WAGS have now organised (THEMSELVES) to be nearer 'their men' (No doubt to keep an eye on them)......... 30 mins away. FA and Capello not happy bunnies we hear!
