being brutally honest, although this is our first season, UCL Div 1 is below where we should be, even at this early stage, so expectations of winning the league, in my view, are perfectly justified!

Although we expect to be up there challenging it is going to be tough! From what i have heard Sileby Rangers will be challenging next season as half of Long Buckby's UCL prem winning side from last season will be playing for them. Oadby Town will be up there as well, they have ex Leicester players, Matt Piper and Jon Stevenson among there ranks. If anyone thinks we are going to steamroll the league i think they could be in for a shock.

Think Oadby have got Stefan Oaks aswel havent they Tom? You're right though them two will be the teams to beat.. Has Buckby's manager gone Sileby?

How, exactly, do you "go Sileby"? Is it like going mad, or going deaf?

Yep im pretty sure they have Jaff. I don't think Buckby's manager has gone to Sileby but i believe Buckby's chairman/ money man has gone there and is likely to be pumping in the £££££££££!!!TwinkleToesTomlin wrote:Think Oadby have got Stefan Oaks aswel havent they Tom? Sileby's ground is top notch and the pitch is fantastic compared to Buckby's cow field.

I've never been away... the world cannot get enough grammar lessons: I watch, I wait, and if necessary, I pounce! I really hate it when people leave out words that should be there, especially when by doing so they make themselves read as being just above grunt level in communications skills. It's sloppy, it's lazy, it's un-necessary.AndyKirkup wrote:The pedant returnsRed Dragon wrote:How, exactly, do you "go Sileby"? Is it like going mad, or going deaf?![]()

I find it hard for whoever decided the odds and every and anyone to say where we should/could be finishing. We dont have a team as of right now, if we have a good team we have a chance if we dont we wont. Simple.
