I look forward to the FA realising they haven't paid 100% of football creditors.
R.I.P Dale. We will never forget you.

They owe money to Blackpool & Crystal Palace as well as players wages.Sara Pascoe wrote:I look forward to the FA realising they haven't paid 100% of football creditors.

According to John Dunham (ET) Twitter CVA is approved.
It's disgusting that you can acru that much dept and just get CVA pay f all over x amount of years and carry on as normal.

That implies HMRC are owed over £100K, so they will undoubtedly check the circumstances of the CVA as they did with Chester - http://www.twohundredpercent.net/?p=1695Mat.H wrote:90% voted to approve CVA only one that didn't was the HMRC.

Re: Desperate measures.....
Some of the snippets I've seen on messageboards (not the most reliable source I know) do seem to infer that some of the creditors are "convenient", if you get my drift. Just as in that Chester City article, I'm sure that if HMRC feel that some debts have been fabricated, they will challenge the CVA, as they did (successfully) with Chester.
The taxman and the Government appear to have lost patience with football clubs doing this (see Rangers !!) and I hope IF it is proven that any wrong doing has gone on, they get hit with the severest of penalities..........relegation to UCL 1 would be fitting ;)
For now they're safe, but you do get the feeling this is going to run and run, they'll have a season of lurching from one drama to another. I wonder what will happen at the AGM tomorrow and wether or not they'll be accepted into the SLP - I'm presuming its a done deal.
I would love to see a full list of creditors though and look for dates the debts occured and who to, I wonder if there are some familiar names in the list from Cambridge/Weymouth?
Not surprised the CVA was passed anyway, the big question was always going to be would HMRC appeal the decision, I guess we won't know for a few weeks.

Since only HMRC voted against the CVA will they bother to contest it :?:
However Sausage is now high on the HMRC Hit list and if Kettrin are one Nanosecond late in paying any Tax a winding up order will be issued so fast a sonic boom will be heard over Nene Park.
