A couple of nice pubs in Titchmarsh - the Wheatsheaf Inn does great food last time I went, and the Dog and Partridge (closer to ground/playing fields) is also in the high street.

Man, that was a joy to behold.

Chucks of rump steak interspersed with pepper, onion and tomato, sprinkled with a spicy topping and then cooked over the flame grill. Served with chips. Never used to order anything else when we could afford to go there B.C. (before children)

Back to the football, we might toddle along to have a watch.

Haven`t been there since the days of the much-feared Cullum brothers.
However, Jack Wisniewski`s dad looks after the pitch and tells me it`s `superb`!!
