His name is Vince Paul and his son, Buster, was one of Dale's best mates, having played alongisde him for many years as a youngster. He is a close family friend of the Roberts, and came along on their behalf as they we're unable to make the game yesterday. There's a photo of him on the OWS with his daughter and Dale's cousin, Wayne, who also came along with his wife to show their support.Dazzler wrote:He's one of Dale's Friends/Relatives from Horden and was representing the family I believe.TheIncognitoKid wrote:Who's the guy in the suit with shades on. Vince also made a lot of the arrangements for the DRMC a couple of weeks ago.

In case people didn't notice, we added some more of Mal's player / fan celebration pics to the article with the various presentations pics today - http://www.afcdiamonds.com/scenes-from- ... -afternoon
Looks like there is some bonding going on there.

I'm sure there must have been. It would be interesting to know roughly how many there were.diamondgeezer1 wrote:Was there any Thrapston fans at the game??
Does anyone know? Guessing we don't have the ability to break it down into home/away fans as the same turnstiles.

Am sure there were, but we don't have a split gate, and so those that pay via Cash could be ether, so we have no way of knowing, at least until every fan is a member ;-)stamboy wrote:I'm sure there must have been. Re: Thrapston (H) Match Thread
Im Thrapston born and bred and they dont have any fans as such. There were a few lads from their reserve side watching last Saturday, they were standing next to the terrace enjoying a couple of beers. Thrapston tend to play quite a few games on a Friday night and tend to get fairly decent crowds at these games because quite a few people come to watch who play or watch bigger sides on a Saturday.stamboy wrote:I'm sure there must have been. Ive watched quite a few games in the UCL and i imagine the only team that have any kind of support will be Oadby.
