Desperate measures.....
Re: Desperate measures.....
If HT has been pulled out by KC then you assume that the rent will not be paid and that the Club has no Administration staff doing the vital Secretary roll or even payroll.

Behind the times Trek, they are in the Evo-stik not the Conference, don't know the rules about Programmes at that level and no doubt the printers wanted money up front which is not surprising.Trek wrote:They didn't have a programme for sale on Saturday.Sara Pascoe wrote: Corby - Some would say in dire straits. Some excuse about a problem with the printers. We have heard that excuse before. ;) They made it available online as a PDF download but I think they could be in trouble with the Conference over this.
EDIT
OOPS just spotted talking about Corby not Ploppies

Re: Desperate measures.....
I've really given up caring anymore, they're in terminal decline it seems.
I hope they throw in their lot with KFC and follow our lead, much respect to them if they do that !! We could meet again sooner than we thought if that happens eh?
Is HT leaving confirmed or just speculation? An interesting turn of events if true.

Over on Poppynet, they're getting a little upset about this latest picture from Rockinghorse Road. I can only assume they're feeling exactly as I did the day the 'Ketterin Town Football Club' sign was put up at Nene Park.
ooh that's a bitch.

Re: Desperate measures.....
Do you think that now they realise gloating wasn't such a good idea...
Hope that image, and ones even worse, get shown everyday to them. Then maybe they'll understand payback.
As for all the talk about KFC, I do feel sympathy for them there. This isn't a club set up in our mould if I am correct, it is a club set up by a few 'leaders'. They need to get organised, via their trust, on a proper community initiative. If they do, be happy to come up against them in a better spirit than any old Diamonds v K*ttering clash.

let's hope that they do go down the "One fan, One Vote" route, otherwise they could end up in the same boat again 8-) 8-)
I must admit, that a lot of them now have woken up and smelt the coffee, about time too 8-) 8-)

Re: Desperate measures.....
There was nothing democratic about the way KFC was set up. The prime movers were a small group who decided not to watch football at NP and only announced the new set up in January. Remains to be seen if it will be all encompassing in the manner of our Club.Duke of Wimbourne wrote:let's hope that they do go down the "One fan, One Vote" route, otherwise they could end up in the same boat again 8-) 8-)
