BSP games tonight...

Post by ID »

Am I the only one who wants Luton to win tonight?

Killing off Mansfield's play-off hopes are, I think, more important than trying to keep up with Luton. 5th place is, in reality, just as good as 2nd. I'm more worried about the teams behind us (K*ttering, Mansfield, and AFCW) than the teams ahead, and would snatch 5th place right now.

Also Luton are on my accumulator ;)

I'd actually rather Mansfield won. Probably being a bit complacent but I see them as almost out of it now. I don't necessarily think we need to keep up with Luton but we do need to stay as high up as poss IMO because we have a big battle coming up

I'm going to go for Mansfield too. Actually, a draw would be nice.

I tell you what though, Kiddy aren't completely out of it. 1-0 up already too. :(

Haha I know what you mean, but they bring a lot of fans to NP and they're a decent enough bunch.

True. I just get the feeling that they're one of those clubs that think they're too big for non-league, along with the likes of Oxford and Luton though, which is why I'd find their relegation quite amusing.

That explains it! ;)

As others have said, Luton dropping points would be more ideal for us. I believe Mansfield are far enough away to not worry about for the moment. Whilst finishing 2nd is as good as finishing 5th , I agree, dragging Luton a bit more into the fight gives us a bit more leeway in terms of making the playoffs. Better to be in the race for two playoff places rather than one.
